Mary Magdalene Crewneck
I was inspired by the lavish love of Mary of Magdala as portrayed in the scriptures. A love that in taking her to the deepest places of grief, took her straight to the Resurrection where we hear her say "I have seen the Lord!"
Some church tradition follows that Mary Magdalene is the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet by breaking a jar of costly nard, pictured on the sleeve. “She has done a beautiful thing,” we hear Christ say to the apostles. We find here a lavish, deeply personal, almost ‘wasteful’ love. A love that pours with joy its most precious nard. So too does Christ say too us when we pour this precious love unto his heart in prayer.
Megan is pictured wearing a large.
